In a speech today in the city of Asalouyeh in Iran, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the American and European peoples were envious of the freedom in Iran and of the Iranian people's keen participation in elections.
He recommended to U.S. President Barack Obama to rectify his behavior, to refrain from interfering in Iran's domestic affairs, and to not repeat the disgrace of his predecessor George W. Bush.
Ahmadinejad said that despite the heavy sanctions, Iran was racking up technological and scientific achievement, and would attain the highest international status even earlier than anticipated.
