'Kayhan' To West: Stop Demanding That We Freeze Uranium Enrichment

On the eve of the talks in Geneva, the Iranian daily Kayhan, which is close to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that the West must stop demanding that Iran freeze uranium enrichment and that it stop threatening it that all options are on the table.

U.S. State Department spokesman told the Iranian news agency Fars in Geneva that the U.S. was interested in holding direct talks today, October 1, 2009, with the head of the Iranian talks delegation Saeed Jalili.
