Houthis, Saudi Forces Clash

In clashes yesterday on the Saudi-Yemen border between Saudi security forces and Houthi infiltrators from Yemen, one Saudi securityman was killed and others were wounded.

In response to the incident, the Saudi daily Al-Watan stated that the Houthis were acting as agents of Iran, and that their attempts to infiltrate into Saudi Arabia were aimed at turning their rebellion into a regional problem that will start conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

The paper also warned that any attempt to harm Saudi security will be harshly dealt with, and called on the Houthis to sever any relationship with Iran.
