Iranian Defense Minister Brig.-Gen. Ahmad Vahidi today said in Tehran that Iran's achievements in space technology had surprised the country's enemies and friends alike.
He made the remarks during the inaugural ceremony of Iran's space achievements in the presence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Despite propaganda against the Iranian nation, the country has achieved great successes in technologies, space achievements in particular, Vahidi said.
He added that these achievements were gained by following the guidelines of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
