Iranian Daily: The U.S., Iraqi Ba'th Party behind Iraq Bombings

The Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami stated that the U.S. and the Sunni Ba'th Party in Iraq perpetrated the recent bombings in this country, in order to demonstrate the impotence of the Shi'ite Iraqi government and the necessity of bringing the Ba'th back to power. The daily added that in Iraq, as in Afghanistan, the Americans negotiate with terrorist groups in order to further their aims.
