At a Tehran meeting with Islamic Jihad secretary-general Ramadan Abdallah Shelah and other officials from the organization, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that Israel is in a rapid decline, and expressed hope for its final elimination.
He praised the Palestinian resistance, which he promised to support, and said that Israel's failure to take over Gaza despite its military advantage was a miracle.
Shelah said that the resistance organizations were prepared for any Israeli attack, and that they would adhere to their path of final victory.
He added that Iran was stronger than ever, and that its achievements were a source of pride for all.
