In a speech to officers of the Iranian Army air force, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that despite the pressures, the regime had succeeded in advancing in the fields of nuclear and laser technology.
He added that the regime would continue to stand fast against the forces of arrogance (i.e. the West, headed by the U.S.) in advance of the conquest of the pinnacles of progress, and that it would not submit to political and economic pressure.
