Former Australian mufti Taj Al-Din Hamed Al-Halali, who participated in the International Conference on Islamic Unity in Tehran held March 2-4, told the Iranian news agency Qodsna that Zionism is a disease that is spreading in the Islamic world, and that the Muslims must unite against the Zionist enemy to prevent this disease from infiltrating the Islamic world.
He praised Iran for holding the conference, and said that the Islamic countries must see it as a model for emulation.
