Iran's Jamaran Destroyer Successfully Test-Fires Intelligent Missile

Iran's first domestically produced Jamaran destroyer has successfully testfired a powerful and intelligent missile named 'Nour' (light), said Iranian Army Naval Forces commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.

“Jamaran has testfired its different kinds of weapons during recent days, and after that prepared itself for firing missiles, and today in a marine exercise fired an intelligent missile," he said on March 9.

The Jamaran was launched in a ceremony late February attended by senior Navy commanders and Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
