Jomhouri-ye Eslami: Elements in Iraq Trying to Undermine Shi'ite Electoral Victory

The Iranian daily Jomhouri-ye Eslami warned that elements in Iraq affiliated with the U.S. and Saudi Arabia are trying to sabotage the electoral achievements of the Shi'ites, who won two thirds of the seats in parliament, by preventing the formation of a Shi'ite coalition. The daily stated further that a return of the Ba'th to power in Iraq would place this country in great danger.
