Hojjatoleslam Ali Saeedi, the representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), has said that the U.S.'s consecutive failures in the Middle East and other parts of the world show that Washington is moving towards global isolation.
Saeedi said during a meeting with members of Tehran's Voa'z (Preachers) Community last night that the current and future trend of U.S. policies and moves shows that Washington is moving towards global isolation.
Reiterating Washington's challenges in the region, he said, "All the U.S. investments in Iraq for interfering in the country's elections and controlling the country have proved futile due to the vigilance shown by Iraq's Muslim people".
With regard to Iran's nuclear rights, Hojjatoleslam Saeedi said that the U.S. was seeking to deprive the Islamic Republic of peaceful nuclear energy, but that the resistance shown by the Iranian authorities and parliament as well as Iran's insistence on its nuclear enrichment rights have forced Washington to back off.
