In his sermon today, Tehran interim Friday prayer leader Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi condemned yesterday's terrorist
bombings in the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan (Sistan-Baluchestan province) and accused the U.S. of being behind the events.
In his second sermon, Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi said that the U.S. had masterminded the "ignorant and sold-out" terrorists who carried out the terrorist move.
Two explosions in front of Zahedan's Grand Mosque yesterday left more than 27 dead and over 270 wounded.
Pointing to Iranian researcher Shahram Amiri, who returned to Iran from the U.S. yesterday, Seddiqi said, "A country which claims to be civilized kidnapped a scholar of our country out of its hostility against Iran, thus bringing about political and intelligence disgrace for itself and proving that it is a very low-grade country."
