The Iranian news agency Fars reports that, according to Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, the U.S. "hue and cry" about the incident in the Strait of Hormuz is part of Washington's psychological warfare against Iran.
The comment followed a wave of Western media reports about what the news agency called the alleged confrontation between Iranian and U.S. Navy vessels in the Persian Gulf on January 5.
