Ahmadinejad Calls For Stronger Promotion Of Islamic Culture

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Tehran on January 20 that all Muslims are duty-bound to promote Islamic culture and to follow in the footsteps of veterans in order to achieve victory over the hegemonic powers.

During a meeting with Algerian Minister of War Veterans Moudjahidine Mohamed Cherif Abbas, Ahmadinejad said, "Today, the signs of the collapse of hegemonic powers are seen everywhere." He said that "the hegemonic powers" had failed to develop their strategies in different countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, and Latin America, and were trapped in crises that they themselves had created.
He also called for swifter expansion of bilateral Algeria-Iran relations
