Iran, India, Pakistan Argue Over Gas Prices In Pipeline Deal
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited India and Pakistan this month to promote a $7 million deal for a natural gas pipeline from Iran to India via Pakistan.
The visit was part of Iran's "Face to the East" strategy.
It was reported that there is a dispute over the price of the gas, which has increased greatly recently, and Iran has not yet guaranteed its supply.
Under the gas deal, signed in 2005, Iran would supply five million tons of natural gas annually to India via Pakistan, for 25 years.
