The Gulen movement increases its lobbying activities in the American congress

According to a recent news story by the Cumhuriyet newspaper, the Gulen movement has increased its lobbying activities in the American congress. The Gulen movement gives personal donations to the Congress members and organizes tours to Turkey for the advisors of important American parliament members. The movement makes propaganda of its own activities during the tours.

An American expert who was invited to attend such a visit to Turkey described his experiences. He said that during the visit they met with advisors and some politicians from the ruling AKP and they were taken to the Gulen schools.
