Arriving in London to attend an international conference on Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday had a meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as part of his talks there. The two discussed latest developments regarding the historic rapprochement protocols between Turkey and Armenia, with Davutoglu asking Washington to encourage Yerevan to make progress in line with those deals. On the other hand, speaking to reporters, Davutoglu stated that the ongoing unrest in Yemen should not be allowed to turn into a sectarian conflict on a regional scale. “It is a sensitive subject that needs to be handled without being categorized. This issue should be solved by preserving the territorial integrity of Yemen,” Davutoglu said.
