The Jewish Community of Turkey issued a written statement to express their regret at ADL’s change of position regarding the Armenian tragedy of 1915.

In the statement the Turkish Jewish Community stressed that the community endorses the Turkish position that this matter should be debated at academic level with full access to the archives of all concerned parties, and that parliaments are not the appropriate platforms for finding the truth about historical events.
