Positive Kurdish Reaction To Baykal’s Initiative

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) representative in Ankara, Behruz Galali, responded positively to Baykal's proposal.

In a statement he said, “What a beautiful, constructive and realistic perspective. If this initiative is implemented, there will be no problems left”, and added "I would like to congratulate Deniz Baykal”.

Many columnists from the mainstream Turkish media also praised Baykal's initiative for being a proactive step in the right direction.
