The Islamist activist and chief editor of many Islamist websites Nureddin Sirin is a permanent speaker in most of the increasingly frequent and jihadist Islamist events, rallies and gatherings all across Turkey. Following are excerpts of what he said on March 17, 2008 in Van:
“Zeynep, sister of Hussein had come to Karbala with her two sons for defending Allah, so that the flag of Islam, the flag of Allah’s messenger [Muhammed] would not fall. And she said to both her sons, ‘Go son, wave your sword, become a shahid so that the flag of Islam does not fall! [audience chants Allah u Akbar!] That mother Zeynep then in Karbala, is now our sister Zeynep in Gaza; mother of three shahid sons, who dressed them with her own hands, gave them their guns with her own hands, even tied the bombs around their chests with her own hands and sent them off: ‘Go son, go… Kill the Zionists! Kill the Jews! Blow up these bombs right in the center of Israel, in the middle of Zionists so that al Quds [Jerusalem] is liberated! So that Palestine is liberated! So that these enemies of Allah, these enemies of Islam will no longer step on Allah’s holy land!’
If there is resistance in Palestine today, and if tomorrow the back of the Zionism will be broken and its head smashed, the umma owes this to Palestinian mothers. […]
We have so many brave brothers all across this country, everywhere, who yearn to sacrifice their lives to defend the Palestinian land and the oppressed Palestinians against rabid Jews that Allah declared as our enemy! The traitor Arab rulers rather than with you [Hamas], may sit around the table with Zionists and Americans; but you will find the Muslim people of this country [Turkey], your reliable brothers, always standing by you. […] Let’s repeat our wish that this cancer tumor Zionist Israel will be destroyed in the nearest future by the brave, heroic children of our umma.”
