Anti-Taleban Pamphlets Distributed In Mohmand Agency

A pamphlet declaring Tehreek-e-Taleban Pakistan as a defunct organization has been distributed by the Pakistani security forces in Pakistan’s tribal district of Mohmand agency. It asks people to avoid being part of the militant group.

In the pamphlet describing the Taliban as unlawful elements, the Pakistani security forces have warned the local people that the Taliban want to capture their land and property in the name of jihad and Islamic Shari’a.

Accusing the Taliban of being funded by anti-Pakistan elements, the pamphlet tells the local people that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is involved in ‘‘terrorist activities and suicide attacks in which innocent Muslims have been killed many times.’’
