Pakistan has been working on developing a plutonium bomb with Chinese assistance since the 1990s, according to an Urdu daily.

The Urdu-language Pakistani newspaper Roznama Khabrain quoted a report submitted to the U.S. Congress as saying that Pakistan began working on the plutonium bomb in the late-1990s with Chinese assistance.
