Four Foreign Militants Killed In Pakistan’s Bajaur District

Four foreigners were among the 15 militants killed during by a Pakistani security forces operation near the Afghan border in the volatile Bajaur tribal district, according to an Urdu-language newspaper.

The security forces, supported by gunship helicopters and jet fighters, heavily pounded the militants’ hideouts in the district’s Damadola Kharkey, Gotki and Saparay areas, according to a report in the Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Express.

The report, quoting undisclosed official sources, said that 15 militants, including four foreign militants, were killed and that several others were wounded in the operation, while 11 militants have been detained.
