China has offered to give Pakistan at least four atomic power plants. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Khabrain reported that the Chinese offer came during the ongoing visit of President Pervez Musharraf to China. According to the report, Musharraf had indicated to the Chinese leaders about Pakistan’s energy need for 1300MW. China and Pakistan have an existing cooperation program in the field of nuclear energy.
