The Chief of militant Islamic tribal group Lashkar-e-Islam Mangal Bagh has said that the group’s activities are not limited to Pakistan’s tribal district of Khyber Agency. The Urdu-language Roznama Khabrain quoted him as saying: ‘‘Allah revealed the Koran, which was not sent for any one particular region of the world...We are out to spread Islam throughout the world.’’
In the ongoing fighting between Lashkar-e-Islam and rival tribal groups in the tribal district of Khyber Agency, dozens of people have been killed in recent days.
