Unidentified persons have burned a second girls’ school in the Taliban-controlled Swat district of Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Mashriq reported that a dozen people entered set afire the girls’ school in the Matta area of Swat district.
Another girls’ school was burned down in the district last weekend. According to the report, the local administration has closed the two schools. The attacks on the girls’ schools are likely to be seen to be from the Taliban who control the region.
