With the attack on the Danish embassy in Islamabad on Monday, Pakistan has witnessed 250 bomb blasts this year of which 27 were big explosions, according to a report in the Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Jasarat.
More than 200 people were killed and 700 wounded in the 27 big blasts that occurred in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar and other parts of Pakistan. According to the report, most of the blasts targeted government and security officials.
Last year, there were 57 suicide blasts that killed 700 people, the report added.
