Afghan President Hamid Karzai has asked the international community to take action against the Taliban in Pakistan. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Jang quoted Karzai as saying that there is a need to change the strategy in the War against Terror and pursue Taliban militants in their safe havens.
According to the report, President Karzai said the Taliban’s safe havens and training camps in Pakistan need to be targeted. The Afghan president also asked Pakistan, the Pakistan Army and the Inter-Services Intelligence to stop thinking of establishing their puppet government in Kabul.
